Blackburn Demands Senate Vote to End Child Trafficking at our Border

March 25, 2021

U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) took to the Senate floor today to force a vote on her legislation to ‘End Child Trafficking’ at our southern Border.

“After seeing the crisis firsthand, I went to the Senate floor to demand a vote on legislation to require DNA testing at the border to deter fraud and child trafficking. Unaccompanied minors are especially vulnerable to trafficking and are often forced to perform sex acts. Making DNA tests mandatory on anyone claiming a family relationship with a minor will send a powerful message that traffickers will be caught and aggressively prosecuted.” – Senator Blackburn
