  • Over 5,600 casework issues completed on behalf of constituents
  • Nearly 240,000 Tennesseans reached in tele-town halls held across West, Middle, and East Tennessee
  • Met with local leaders, business owners, farmers, and families from all 95 counties across the state to talk about the issues that matter most, and how we can work together to make our communities even stronger
  • Worked alongside Governor Lee and state leaders to prioritize economic development, bringing companies like Ford, SK Innovation, and Smith & Wesson to Tennessee

  • Served as co-chair of the Senate Rural Health Care Caucus
  • Worked to get to the bottom of the origins of COVID-19, and conducted oversight on the NIH’s role in funding research at the Wuhan lab

  • Senator Blackburn’s bipartisan TEAM Veteran Caregivers Act was signed into law, ensuring recognition for America’s unsung heroes in the veterans’ electronic health records
  • Expanded on bipartisanship by introducing legislation with Senator Sinema called the Long-Term Care Veterans Choice Act, which would provide veterans with more choices for personalized care in a home-like setting
  • Introduced the Onward to Opportunity Act to provide individualized career training programs and job placement services to help servicemembers transition back into civilian life

Holding Big Tech Accountable And Advocating For Broadband Access

 

  • Held several hearings with executives from Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and YouTube to discuss their negative impact on young users and their habit of putting profit above the wellbeing of their consumers
  • Introduced the Open App Markets Act that would prevent Big Tech giants from forcing their own app stores on users at the expense of innovative start-ups
  • Worked to close the digital divide by removing federal barriers and encouraging private investment to expand broadband networks in rural communities
