Blackburn to Google: You Push the Boundaries Until Your Hand Gets Slapped

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) spoke at the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution hearing on “Google and Censorship through Search Engines.” In her remarks, Senator Blackburn spoke directly to Karan Bhatia, Vice President for Government Affairs & Public Policy for Google.

“When we talk about privacy, or lack thereof, data security, or lack thereof, offenders that are the biggest and the worst offenders, unfortunately for you all, people put Google on the top of the list,” said Senator Blackburn. “I feel like you all push the boundaries until your hand gets slapped.”
