WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) welcomed Tennesseans to the nation’s capital for the 2024 March for Life.
“To all of our Tennesseans who are coming to the capital for March for Life: thank you for making the trip, and thank you so much for the great work that you do every day to defend life. I want to say a special thanks to you for the work you did in 2023 and the way you have worked to educate friends and neighbors about the importance of life.
“We are working on the issue too. I have introduced the Woman's Right to Know Act. Now, this would make certain that women are given the information they need about the medical risk, not only to themselves, but to that unborn baby and that they know what's going to transpire before they have that abortion. This is important information for them to have and to have 24 hours prior to that procedure. So, thank you for your efforts and welcome to D.C.”
